Cuddle Clones Donates $1000 to Help The Animal League of Green Valley

The Animal League of Green Valley (TALGV) is a private, donation-funded, all volunteer, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Their purpose is to help homeless and needy animals in Green Valley, Sahuarita and the surrounding communities. TALGV's mission, A Home for Every Pet,  includes sheltering, spay/neuter, veterinary care, training and adoption. It has grown to also include helping owned pets in times of need so their families are able to keep them. Between 2009 and 2012, TALGV found homes for more than 2,145 pets. Their average daily population is 120 cats and 50 dogs. On arrival, every pet gets a full medical check-up and all necessary shots. Every TALGV pet is spayed or neutered. All pets are regularly groomed and dogs are walked several times daily. Cats and dogs are socialized with people and with other pets. TALGV receives no funding from federal, state, county, or municipal sources. Their own Attic Thrift Shop contributes almost 50% of their income. Adoption and intake fees provide 10% and grants produce another 10%. The remainder of their funding comes from the generosity of their members, individual donors, local organizations, businesses and bequests.
